Integrations

Lavori and your Google account

Lavori is an operations platform for production-driven teams — projects, crew scheduling, budgets, quotes, invoicing, and client management in one workspace. Connecting Google is optional, and this page explains exactly what Lavori asks for and why.

There are two separate connections. Google Drive is set up once per organization by an administrator from Organization settings → Integrations. Google Calendar is personal: each member connects their own Google account from Settings → Google Calendar, and only that member's own work is copied to it. Nothing is requested from Google until someone starts one of those connections, and no Google data is touched for organizations and members that never connect one.

What Lavori requests, and why

Google Drive
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file

Lets an admin choose a specific Drive folder with Google Picker and link it to a Lavori project. Once selected, Lavori can list that folder's files, upload files into it, download files opened for preview, and watch it for changes. This per-file permission does not let Lavori browse or access the rest of the connected account's Drive.

Google Calendar
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.app.created

Each member connects their own Google account from Settings → Google Calendar. Lavori then creates one calendar per item type they switch on — for example "Lavori · Shifts" — and mirrors only their own shifts, events, projects, tasks, and leads onto it. The sync is one-way: Lavori is the source of truth, so edits made in Google are overwritten. This permission is limited by Google to calendars Lavori itself created — Lavori cannot read, edit, or see any of your other calendars.

Email address
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email

Identifies which Google account is connected, so the screen you connected it from — your organization's Integrations settings for Drive, or your personal Google Calendar settings — can show it and you can confirm you connected the right account.

What Lavori does not do

  • We do not sell, rent, or transfer Google user data, and we never use it for advertising.
  • We do not use Google user data to train AI or machine learning models, and our AI providers process content under commercial API terms that prohibit training on it.
  • Our staff do not read your Drive files or calendar entries, except where you explicitly ask us to for support, where it is necessary to investigate a security incident, or where the law requires it.
  • Google data stays inside your organization's workspace. It is visible only to members of that workspace whose role already grants them access to the project it belongs to.

Storage, retention, and disconnecting

Google access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest and are used only to make the API calls described above. An admin can disconnect Drive at any time from Organization settings → Integrations, and any member can disconnect their own calendar from Settings → Google Calendar; either revokes the tokens and deletes them from our database. You can also revoke access directly from your Google account permissions page. Disconnecting stops all syncing; files stay in your Drive, and the calendars Lavori created are removed from your Google Calendar (turning off a single type removes just that calendar).

Limited Use disclosure

Lavori's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
