Client work, freelancers, and the money, in one place.
Design, content, and video studios usually run a job across a task board, a shared drive, a freelancer spreadsheet, and an invoicing tool. In Lavori the project is the job: the brief, the tasks, the files, the people booked on it, and the quote and invoice all stay on one record.
Plan the work your way
Tasks live in sections — a phase, a deliverable, a round of revisions — and the same project reads as a table, a Kanban board, or a Gantt timeline. Save a well-built section as a template and every new job starts with its structure in place.
Keep the brief with the job
Notes, uploaded files, and linked Google Drive or Dropbox folders sit on the project, next to the conversation about it, so nobody hunts through a separate drive for the latest version.
Book freelancers without the back-and-forth
Put shifts on the project's calendar and assign people or let freelancers claim open ones. Lavori checks overlaps and weekly-hour limits either way, and the scheduled time feeds the budget.
Quote it, sign it, bill it
Build the budget, push the lines you choose into a quote, and send it. The client reviews and signs from a portal link with no login, and an accepted quote converts into an invoice with the same lines. Connect Stripe and the same link takes payment.
Let the assistant draft the busywork
The built-in AI assistant reads across the workspace and drafts the work — a project with its sections and tasks, a budget, a quote, an invoice. It proposes; you approve.
Plans
Projects, tasks, files, scheduling, quotes, and invoices are the core of every plan. Budgets, the contractor portal, and online client payments are plan-gated. The pricing page shows exactly which plan includes what. Contractors never take a paid seat.
Questions
- Do freelancers need a paid seat?
- No. Contractors and viewers are always free; you pay for staff seats only, starting at one.
- Does the client need a Lavori account?
- No. Clients review and sign quotes and view invoices from a portal link that needs no login.
- Can we move our current projects in?
- There is no one-click importer. Our team rebuilds your projects, tasks, statuses, and assignees with you from an export of your current tool — book a demo and we'll scope it.
In the documentation
Projects & tasks
Projects are the home for everything a job needs: tasks, sections, statuses, files, notes, and the people doing the work. View the same tasks as a table, a board, or a Gantt timeline.
Files
Every project has its own file area for storing documents, images, and reference material. Upload, organize into folders, preview without downloading, and grant contractors access to just the folders they need.
Project notes
Each project has a Notes tab for rich-text pages — meeting notes, run-of-show, specs, and plans. Pages nest into a sidebar tree, edit and save as you type, and can be shared publicly with anyone who has the link.
Crew scheduling
Plan, publish, and staff shifts for your events. Build a shift calendar, reuse shift templates, deploy shifts in bulk, and let crew claim open work through a claim, approve, and deny workflow with built-in conflict and hours checks.
Billing
Lavori's billing pipeline turns planned work into client proposals, sends branded PDFs, and tracks payments through to paid. Budgets handle internal cost planning, and the service library keeps your pricing reusable.
AI assistant
A built-in assistant that answers questions about your organization's data and takes action across projects, tasks, events, shifts, contacts, and billing — all scoped to what you can already see.
