For project managers

Every task, date, and person on one timeline.

Project managers on client work tend to keep the plan in one tool, the files in another, the updates in chat, and the budget in a spreadsheet. In Lavori the project holds all of it: the tasks and dates, the notes and files, the people on the work, and the money behind it.

One plan, three views

The same tasks read as a table, a Kanban board, or a Gantt timeline. Scan and edit in the spreadsheet-style table, check what's in progress on the board, and drag a bar on the timeline to shift its dates, with the change saved back to the task.

Switch the timeline between daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly ranges, with a marker for today.

Structure the work your way

Group tasks into sections by phase or workstream. A task carries an assignee, a priority, start and due dates, a status, and a progress value, and it can nest subtasks several levels deep, with checklists, comments, attachments, and custom columns.

Start a project from a template, or save a well-built section and add it to any project, so the next job doesn't start from a blank page.

Keep the context on the project

Notes are a tree of rich-text pages that can be published and shared by portal link with people outside the workspace. Files sit in folders on the project, or in a linked Google Drive or Dropbox folder.

Know who's on what

Assign a task to one person or several. Contractors see their assigned tasks in the Crew Portal, grouped by project, and can mark them complete and check off checklist items. When the work needs people on site, put shifts on the project's calendar, with overlap and weekly-hour checks.

Keep the budget next to the plan

Build the budget on the same project and push the lines you choose into a quote. Lavori shows how much of the budget has made it onto a quote and what's left to quote. Approved expenses tied to the project can be brought into the budget, and an accepted quote converts into an invoice with the same lines.

Ask instead of chasing

The built-in AI assistant reads across the workspace, so you can ask about overdue tasks, a project summary, or budget variance. It can also draft the setup: a project with its sections and columns, generated tasks, a note page. Draft cards wait for your approval before saving; an explicit request can apply right away.

Plans

Projects, tasks, notes, files, scheduling, quotes, and invoices are the core of every plan. Budgets and the contractor portal are plan-gated. The pricing page shows exactly which plan includes what. Contractors never take a paid seat.

Questions

Who needs a paid seat?
Only staff, starting at one seat. Contractors and viewers are always free, and clients use portal links that need no login.
Can we move our current projects in?
There is no one-click importer. Our team rebuilds your projects, tasks, statuses, and assignees with you from an export of your current tool — book a demo and we'll scope it.
What does it cost?
Pricing is per staff seat, starting at one, and contractors never take a paid seat. Every plan starts with a free trial that needs no credit card.

In the documentation

Projects & tasks

Projects are the home for everything a job needs: tasks, sections, statuses, files, notes, and the people doing the work. View the same tasks as a table, a board, or a Gantt timeline.

Project notes

Each project has a Notes tab for rich-text pages — meeting notes, run-of-show, specs, and plans. Pages nest into a sidebar tree, edit and save as you type, and can be shared publicly with anyone who has the link.

Files

Every project has its own file area for storing documents, images, and reference material. Upload, organize into folders, preview without downloading, and grant contractors access to just the folders they need.

Crew scheduling

Plan, publish, and staff shifts for your events. Build a shift calendar, reuse shift templates, deploy shifts in bulk, and let crew claim open work through a claim, approve, and deny workflow with built-in conflict and hours checks.

Crew Portal

The Crew Portal is where contractors work in Lavori. See your next shift, confirm assignments, pick up open shifts, check off your tasks, clock in, and submit your hours for approval, all scoped to the organization you are working for.

Billing

Lavori's billing pipeline turns planned work into client proposals, sends branded PDFs, and tracks payments through to paid. Budgets handle internal cost planning, and the service library keeps your pricing reusable.

Expenses

Log what your team spends, attach receipts or let AI read them for you, tie each cost to a project, and approve or deny submissions before they count toward a budget.

AI assistant

A built-in assistant that answers questions about your organization's data and takes action across projects, tasks, events, shifts, contacts, and billing — all scoped to what you can already see.
